Nelle B. Danahey, 72, formerly of Putnamville, died yesterday in an Indianapolis nursing home. Born at Fowler, Mrs. Danahey had lived in Indianapolis five months. Previously she had lived 25 years at Putnamville. For 8 years before 1937, Mrs. Danahey was cashier in the tube center at Ayres. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church at Greencastle and the church Altar Society and the Thursday Club at Putnamville.  Survivors are a daughter, Eileen C. Harpe; a son, John J. Danahey and a sister, Mrs. John E. Filcer, Indianapolis; a brother, Patrick O’Leary, Monticello and four grandchildren. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday in Feeney-Kirby Mortuary and at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
